Harley Quinn Halloween & Cosplay Makeup Tutorial
Suicide Squad - probably one of the most awaited antihero movies after Deadpool. Even though the main storyline is about Deadshot, Harley Quinn, Joker's sexy Girlfriend, is definitely the fan favorit! With this step-by-step makeup tutorial you can disguise yourself as the sexy Harley Quinn for Halloween or an upcoming cosplay convention!
Step-by-Step Harley Quinn Makeup Tutorial
1) Cover your eyebrows with spirit gum and press them tightly with a makeup spatula so they are lying flat (optional)
2) Now block out your eyebrows evenly with face and body wax until they are completely covered and use colorless powder to set the wax (optional)
3) Apply a white foundation or aqua makeup on your face and neck
4) Set your base makeup with colorless powder
5) Use a soft white eyeliner as a base on your eyelids. This will make they eyeshadow more vivid
6) Use black makeup powder or eyeshadow to contour your cheeks, nose and temples
7) With a thin makeup brush, draw curved eyebrows (optional)
8) Use pink eyeshadow on your right eye. Draw a little wing tip upwards and four long streaks, as if your makeup got wet and ran downwards
9) Repeat this step on your left eye with a blue eyeshadow (don't forget to blend)
10) Use a darker shade of pink on your crease to enhance your eyemakeup
11) Repeat this step with darker shade of blue on your left eye
12) Since this is a more distressed look of Harley, we added black eyeshadow to the streaks to give the eye makeup a more worn out look
13) Draw your waterline with a black eye pencil
14) Draw a black line on your upper eyelid and add a little tip
15) Glue on false eyelashes for a more dramatic look
16) Use a liquid eyeliner or black eye pencil to draw a little heart underneath your right eye as well as the word "ROTTEN" in capital letters
17) Apply red lipstick
18) Use a cotton applicator to smear the red lipstick on one side downwards
19) Intensify your lips with red lipgloss
20) Use black cream makeup to draw a line on your forehead
21) With a small makeup brush, apply a fine line of fake blood (blood gel) to the middle of the line you just drew in step 20. to create a fresh cut
22) Use a textured makeup sponge and black makeup powder or eyeshadow to creat a more distressed look, like you've just been in a fight!
